Project Phoenix

This is a top-down survival shooter with a sci-fi/horror theme. Really humorous and innovative concept where computers are coming to life as zombies and trying to kill you :) This game has broad appeal to anyone who enjoys top-down shooters/horror games, however it wouldn't appeal much to people who are into lore as story hasn't been fully incorporated yet. If the story was developed more, I think it would also appeal to people who like comedic games too. The game is easy to play, although when I got to the second level (through the portal) my shooting ability seemed to stop. Not sure if this was a bug or if it was supposed to be that way (e.g. if limited ammo or something, would be nice to have some feedback through HUD to tell me that). It would be even better if the player walk was animated. I like the sound of the dial up modem. Maybe some music to add to the sense of tension/atmosphere? Things to improve the game: The start screen contains information about the controls, but for some reason in the resolution I played, the sound mute option controller was on top of the instruction text. Incorporate some story and some visual feedback about the player state e.g. ammo, health, etc. Overall though, I really like the concept and look forward to seeing it developed further!
